After six months of hands-on training, a total of 4,201 students under State House’s sponsored Presidential Initiative on Skilling the Girl/ Boy Child (PISGBC) are set to be assessed this week by the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT).

President Yoweri Museveni launched the program in 2017, according to Dr. Faith Katana Mirembe, the Special Presidential Assistant on Skilling and Education and Head of the PISGBC project.

All initiatives that make access to skilling more inclusive are highly appreciated. Let's encourage our young people to utilize these skilling opportunities for Kampala city. #TVET Dr.Katana and team Presidential Initiative on Skilling the Girl/Boy the initiative is commendable.
