Today's small petty annoyance: That Microsoft Solitaire can get hung up on an ad or whatever, and then it makes it look like I took over 2 hours to finish one round of Solitaire. NOPE.

It will be slow (read: VERY FREAKING SLOW), but I'm going to work on getting my fanfic transferred over to AO3. I won't be editing or changing anything, so it'll be in all its original flawed messiness. archiveofourown.org/users/pith/pro…

I find it easier to edit other people's work rather than my own, but not for the reasons most people expect. I can tear apart my own work pretty well, but when it's someone else's, I'm more mindful that they have a different perspective and I try to weigh more options for them.

Given how many erroneous tags & retweets I get from medical professionals, I'm a bit worried for the medical profession. Are they not teaching attention to detail anymore?

Certain fanfic reader (CFR): pls update Me: I'm busy, but soon. CFR: update pls? Me: I'm doing Camp NaNo. Updates will be in August. CFR: update now? Me: No. Later, when updates are finally up... CFR: *crickets* Why pester me if you aren't even going to read?

I think I'm more than halfway through my Camp NaNoWriMo editing. It's all blurring together, which is a pretty clear sign to stop. Or that I need to write more stories that don't have werewolves, but I think we know which is more likely to happen.

Bestselling author Emily X.R. Pan uses NaNoWriMo for every book she writes. She's giving away a signed advance reading copy of her upcoming novel AN ARROW TO THE MOON! Enter to win by retweeting this. Emily will pick a winner on the last day of #NaNoWriMo21! (Open internationally.)

Happy New Year! Here's to new dreams and new opportunities! (And for me, hopefully also a new fandom, because I miss fanfic.)

I'm slowly going to start posting fic to AO3. My LJS stuff will likely be last because there's so much of it, and I need to figure out how to organize it. archiveofourown.org/users/pith/pro…

Maybe I'm a snob, but if someone from "talent acquisitions" for a web publishing company can't even spell, I'm not going to be that interested in whatever publisher they represent.

I know this is a long shot, but... I thought I saw a "I don't spew profanities. I enunciate them clearly, like a fucking lady" cross-stitch pattern in a book, and now I can't remember the book. Anyone know, #CrossStitch twitter?

Pithia (@pithia) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I'm slowly resuming ficposting at AO3. I make zero promises as to when any particular story will be up, but ... just a fair warning for anyone who might be following/subscribed. I don't want to flood anyone with notifications.

Any advice for tagging on AO3? I'm not a fan of the "let's write whole sentences and practically a whole story so there's a wall of text" style (if that's your style, cool! It's just not mine) and I'm never sure if you're supposed to tag for sad/unhappy/depressing endings, etc.

I'm finding Twitter harder to use now that I can't use Tweetdeck, so if you were following Fictress for fic updates, please move over here instead. Thanks!

Hello motorola! Where would I look for help for volume control for the Motorola Moto G 5g (2022)? I've tried lowering all my settings to the bare minimum and it's still painfully loud.
