Then to Royal Birmingham Conservatoire for the final of the Philip Jones International Brass Ensemble Competition. What an amazingly high standard! While the judges deliberated we were treated to a 38-piece ensemble in some super-sized Rameau, arranged & conducted by Roger Harvey.
