KURDISTAN / IRAQ: I am honored to return for an exhibition w Metrography in Slemani at Amna Suraka Prison It's a Saddam-era jail converted into a museum. I can't think of a better place in Iraq to display my images of Kurds, Arabs & others who are now fighting other tyrants.

The exhibition opening is at 3pm on November 2nd. The entire place will be filled with an installation of 50 prints from my new book WE CAME FROM FIRE: Kurdistan's Armed Struggle Against ISIS. Local shop Peyk Books will also be there with a new shipment of books.

The following days, Nov 3-4, I will host a workshop and wander the streets of Slemani with local photographers, teaching what I know about portrait photography & post-production. International students are also welcome to register. Please contact Metrography for more details.
