It’s been the last meeting of this year for the Writing and Reading the Pandemic project today. In these 6 months we generated loads of data, completed reading groups, and met so many wonderful readers interested in Covid poetry! Birmingham bound on this beautiful (but chilly!) day for the Writing and Reading the Pandemic event later on with Marcello Giovanelli Dr Polina Gavin Jamie Hale and George Sandifer-Smith at Aston Uni. Any of my followers on here joining us? #covid #poetry

What a fantastic evening this was! So interesting to hear Marcello Giovanelli and Dr Polina Gavin talk about the COVID poetry research project and to hear Jamie Hale and George Sandifer-Smith read from their collections, showing just how bloody powerful poetry can be.

Some really interesting and thought provoking questions from the lovely audience as well. Thanks to Marcello Giovanelli and Dr Polina Gavin once again for inviting me to take part
