1. Beautiful day at Assisi on pilgrimage. We started in the peace and tranquillity of the Eremo dei Carceri on Mount Subasio. From there we were received well by the Basilica of San Francesco and hosted well for our Eucharist in English and Welsh.

2. Thanks to Fr Rhys for preaching. Our time with St Francis ended by visiting Santa Maria degli Angeli and his chapel of the Transitis and his Porziuncula ‘the little portion’. On the train back to Rome - a wonderful day in crisp, clear and cold weather with azure December skies

The Church in Wales | Yr Eglwys yng Nghymru This is bizarre that it MAY be possible to celebrate weddings & funerals in churches from July 6 but nothing about the celebration of Eucharist/Mass. If funerals can be celebrated there’s no reason at all why we cant celebrate other small, public gatherings of regular worshippers

Delighted to have been appointed as the new Area Dean for Kings Norton, Moseley and Shirley in Church of England Birmingham. We will miss Llandaff greatly and the many friends we've made, esp in Sts G and S, yet we're really looking forward to the joys and challenges ahead.
