Opening night of this year’s TY production of ‘Footloose’ is underway 🎶👩🌾 Great support as always #Community Some serious dancing 🕺 on stage, some tears, some laughs, old tunes and young love 💕 thanks to the amazing staff Portumna Community School





2nd YR’s swapped sleep for sightseeing🤩off at 3am and already cycling around Lisbon like pros! They’ve mastered public transport (sort of), pedaled through a 3hr tour & are now probably wondering if custard tarts count as dinner. Day 1: chaotic, cultural & cardio🌞VisitLisboa



More beautiful 🌞 on day 2 Of Lisbon 2025: after yesterdays epic bike there was an epic hike 🤩well done 2nd years for dragging the teachers around the beautiful Sinatra Palace and onto Peña National Park 🏞 VisitLisboa a well deserved rest is in order this evening 🫶


Hard luck to the senior boys soccer team who came out the wrong side of a hard fought shield final today. Thanks to Mr. Plews, Mr. McLoughlin and Portumna Town FC for their great support during the year 🫶well done Archbishop McHale College on the deserved win 🌞



The final day in Lisbon 2025 began with a smooth checkout before making their way to the impressive Estádio da Luz for a behind-the-scenes tour. There was great excitement as Mr. Hanney dreamed of swapping scoring goals Killimor GAA for benfica ⚽️A magic few days VisitLisboa

After a busy few days completing week 30 assessments, 2nd YR’s visited Galway city today🤩taking in the stunning Cathedral to buzzing Shop Street, strolling through UoG posing at the Spanish Arch, wandering the Latin Quarter, even making it down to the Claddagh VisitGalwayCity
