I am honoured to be appointed Vice Chair of WHO TB-PPM core group at the annual TB PPM working group meeting in Dhaka. Thanks to Hannah Monica Yesudian Dias & Global TB Programme for constituting a vibrant core group. Deep appreciation for the exceptional leadership of my predecessors 🙏

I am looking forward to working with Ministry of Health and ICMR to accelerate decline in #TB cases & deaths in India. We have a long way to go to eliminate it as a public health problem & will need to bring the best science to drive policy & practice.
