Hear conductor Alice Farnham, composers Dani Howard and James B. Wilson, violinist Elena Urioste and pianist Tom Poster in conversation as they share insights into life as a musician in our latest series with MartinRandallTravel, available online until 1 August martinrandall.com/online-talks-c…

We’ve been really touched by the responses to the first disc in our ‘Brahms and Contemporaries’ series on Chandos Records, and hope you enjoy this video giving a taste of both pieces - the lyrical beauty of Luise Adolpha Le Beau + the fiery coda of Brahms’ 2nd piano quartet!

The last time I heard 'La Vie En Rose' live was Frederica von Stade's farewell tour. Last night Elena Urioste and Tom Poster worked similar magic at through the noise #noisenight We had Prokofiev, Cecile Chaminard and a gorgeous piece from Donald Grant. A perfect evening. 1/x

And here I am ending the night with a kazoo solo… (By the way, the Wigmore audience were brilliant with the voting, and notably clear about their preferences - but perhaps less creative with the noises they made than the through the noise crowd!)

Just have to say that Aurora Orchestra’s family concerts are absolutely brilliant - Tico and I were enchanted by ‘Far, Far Away’ yesterday, and anyone with a 0-5 year old should catch next weekend’s shows at Kings Place! (Here’s Tico running from Kings Cross to get there…)

A few pictures from our recent gala concert Hatfield Park with Mark Padmore, Elizabeth Kenny, Magnus Johnston, Guy Johnston, Tom Poster, The Purcell School for Young Musicians, William Whitehead and more

My brother Tobi Poster-Su’s strange and beautiful one-man show, ‘The Lonesome Death of Eng Bunker’, runs from tomorrow till Sat at Omnibus Theatre Clapham. Featuring puppetry, striptease, gothic horror, conjoined twins… Oh, and I wrote the songs! omnibus-clapham.org/the-lonesome-d…

We had a blast HHMusicFest this year, not least ending up on the floor with Tom Poster close to the end of a Happy Birthday for the Salisbury’s Granddaughter. The piano bench gave up on us!! Thanks for the photo Frances Marshall 🏳️🌈🇮🇪

Winterreise w Tom Poster today in Taunton Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective This was the first time we did it, in a farmhouse in the Brazilian jungle, with only candle light..

Join Rosalind Ventris and Tom Poster this Saturday in the Corpus Chapel for some wonderful music, followed by drinks with the artists. Book on Eventbrite or buy tickets from the Porters' Lodge at Corpus. tinyurl.com/bdp9p3bx

This Sunday morning (8th), Elena Urioste and I give a coffee concert at Wigmore Hall, playing two of our favourite sonatas - Janáček & Brahms G - and two miniatures by Dora Pejačević (incl this Élegie). A few tickets left (£18/16) if you fancy joining! wigmore-hall.org.uk/whats-on/20241…

An honour to be part of this line-up for Sean Rafferty’s farewell In Tune BBC Radio 3 broadcast last Friday. I’ve had the joy of playing and chatting with Sean on more occasions than I can remember over 24 years. It was a hilarious and tearful farewell party, and we’ll miss him terribly.

This coming Thurs, March 20, at Wigmore Hall, Elena Urioste and I will be playing some of the most beautiful music you’ve probably never heard, from four great French and Belgian composers - see video for a clip of each. We’d love to share all this glorious music with you!

Out now on Chandos Records… Our second volume of Brahms and Contemporaries, featuring Brahms’ Piano Quartet in C minor alongside Louise Héritte-Viardot’s radiant, nature-inspired Piano Quartet in A major “Im Sommer” - we hope you enjoy listening! lnk.to/CHAN20329TW
