Just published GenCLI v1.9.1. Google DeepMind's Gemini 2.0 Flash is now the default model (all 1.5 versions are deprecated; migration), and support for the Gemini 2.5 Flash (preview) has been added. You can change the model using the model subcommand. github.com/Pradumnasaraf/…

Google I/O was shockingly good. There were lots of announcements, and one great thing is that many of them can directly impact and improve day-to-day life. That’s one of the common themes I’ve noticed with Google events, that many announcements are very end-user oriented.

Documentation is part of the product, not an afterthought.

WWDC is set for June 9! After Apple’s undeniably underwhelming delivery on Apple Intelligence, it’ll be interesting to see if they can make a strong comeback or if it’s already too late in the race. I hope they do.
