Today, the Kenya Snakebite Research and Intervention Centre team received a call from the JKIA Wildlife Control Unit about a snake being spotted at the airport. Our herpetologists rushed to the airport, not just to rescue the snake but also to prevent a potential snakebite incident. The culprit? A puff adder.
KIPRE's Primate Conservation Work finds its place at this year's WRTI Wildlife Scientific Conference at L. Naivasha Resort. Dr. Stanislaus Kivai enlightened the scientific community on role of protected areas and power of communities in saving threatened primates. #primateconservation
