To help me take attendance in my #virtual classes I have students do an #icebreaker at the beginning...these are some of the ones for this week...figured I would share in case others are doing the same and are looking for inspiration. #BetterTogether #SharingIsCaring

Got a 2.4 GPA my first semester in college. Thought maybe I wasn’t cut out for engineering. Today I’ve landed two spacecraft on Mars, and am now designing one for the Moon. STEM is hard for everyone. Grades ultimately aren’t what matter. Curiosity and perseverance matter.

A4: Supports us in measuring what matters & make changes that are relevant to the community. Through action research, educators research a topic that is relevant to impacting learning. Throughout the process they learn how to measure what matters #AppleEDULeaderChat

As we approach the end of the school year, here is a kindness calendar with optional daily ideas for your classrooms. My #dg58learns 7th graders from last year helped me create it. Hopefully it will spark conversations about spreading kindness in your communities. #ChooseKind
