We have said goodbye to beautiful Adelaide and now we are on our way to Melbourne. Really enjoyed our time here and exploring the city. Last time we were here, it was such a rush to Kangaroo Island and to see Crows So nice to have a more gentle pace πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ¦˜πŸ¨

One of the great things about driving the #GreatOceanRoad is the wildlife. Even though the weather was a bit mediocre today and I was mosquito bait 😱🦟, we found some cute and rather sleepy #Koala One had a huge pouch, so presumably a joey was in there πŸ¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Yesterday was a much nicer day than the previous and we headed on the last part of our #GreatOceanRoad trip to Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve which is stunning. lots of #koala and some of them pretty active. Even found one on the ground! πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ¨

Also got close to a couple of chilled Eastern Grey Kangaroos which was pretty nice at Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve. Been surprised at the lack of Kangaroos visible in the day, not seen many at all πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ¦˜

Seen a lot of #Kookaburras in πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί and they are great birds. We were actually looking for a #Lyrebird which I saw, but no-one else did 😱 - It was too quick to photograph as it run by my feet 🀦🏻 The Kookaburra followed me and posed so elegantly, I had to shoot some video. πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Just had a few days in the lovely city of #Melbourne and seen the sights. Driving through the Central Business District at rush hour was somewhat daunting, but I managed to avoid πŸš— 🚊 and πŸšΆπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜± πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

🎢Nice day for a White Wallaby 🦘🎢 These are Bennett's wallabies, found on #BrunyIsland off #Tasmania and the fur is white due to genetic mutation. Despite looking rather albino, the population is doing okay and was a great βœ”οΈ for us on today’s adventure πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Spent the day at #BrunyIsland today which is 20 minute ferry ride from mainland #Tasmania It is a very lovely place separated by a narrow isthmus with some great views and wildlife πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ¦˜πŸοΈ

After 3 attempts, I finally found and photographed a Lyrebird in the forested areas of #MountWellington πŸŒ²πŸ˜€ So pleased, they can be elusive and this one was very skittish πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί #Tasmania #Hobart

I am always keen to see wild animals l, but I knew that we were unlikely to see a wild Tasmanian Devil. #DevilsInTheDark is an experience in Bicheno where TDs roam a 24 hectare enclosure and you get to watch them feeding, whilst enjoying cheese and wine. Awesome. πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ·πŸ§€πŸ‘Ή

Took a trip to the #TasmanianArboretum today and was rewarded with some excellent views of wild platypuses in the wetland area. Saw them last year in the #AthertonTablelands not too far from Cairns, but great to see in the sunshine. Such unusual and amazing creatures #Tasmania πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Today has mainly involved watching #wombats at #CradleMountain National Park in northwest Tassie. We were super lucky today in the overcast conditions and saw about 17 individuals. Apparently, wombats are not keen on the heat. They also do cubic πŸ’©β€¦.. πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Been trying to photograph these bad boys 🦜 since we arrived. They are Green Rosellas and endemic to #Tasmania. As I pulled over to watch them, a local sounded his horn angrily. Justice was served as the police had pulled him over at the next junction πŸ˜€ πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Singapore Sling and a Singapore sunset. Super lovely on the 57th floor bar at the iconic #MarinaSandsHotel but expensive! Nursed our 🍸 for an hour waiting for sunset then I cracked and had a beer 🍺 🀦🏻

Beautiful Moon πŸŒ™ tonight. Given the power of an #iPhone16Pro I don’t understand why moon photos are always mediocre 😑 #FirstWorldProblems
