Dominique Brown's tragic death reminded me of something I noticed last week. It's 2024, nut allergies are very common, and United Airlines still pushes the death-pellets onto unsuspecting passengers. How about asking first? And have the list of ingredients for all food served onboard.

Congrats to the #PECASE awardees! Including PopLab alumnus David Estrada, Ph.D., and Stanford/SLAC colleagues Amir Safavi-Naeini, Arianna Gleason, Chelsea Finn, Guosong Hong, Debbie Senesky 🚀, Dorsa Sadigh, Mary Wootters -- and to Stanford alumnae Duygu Kuzum & Saniya LeBlanc! whitehouse.gov/ostp/news-upda…

Thank you, Russ Altman and Future of Everything podcast (link below), for inviting me to talk about the future of electronics, going beyond silicon and copper. Here I am showing how small a three-atom-thick single layer of MoS2 is. Stanford Engineering @Stanford_EE Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) U.S. National Science Foundation

Thank you for inviting me to this, USC School of Advanced Computing. It was a thought-provoking symposium on the future of computing -- as well as a great chance to catch up with old friends and make some new ones.

If you're at the Materials Research Society (MRS) Spring 2025 Meeting in Seattle, stop by to catch our group's 7 talks! Topics range from #2dmaterials to (nanoscale) thermal transport, flexible transistors, and radiation-hard materials. #S25MRS mrs.org/meetings-event…
