My son turns 2 today. Having a child restores an adult's lost sense of wonder; a reason for play; a sense that each day is meaningful, full of work worth doing. I cannot recommend having kids highly enough. If you are on the fence, take this tweet as a sign that you should do it

In unhealthy relationships, people only contact you when they need you. They treat your interactions as transactions that leave you feeling used. In healthy relationships, people reach out when they think of you. They’re invested in your relationship and eager to be helpful.

What holds many people back from taking initiative is not laziness. It's fear. Inaction breeds rumination and feeds anxiety. Action builds momentum and fuels confidence. Some ideas won't work. Some people will say no. But in the long run, it's better to fail than to fail to

Being a CEO sucks. You’ve got to have something a little off upstairs to want it because it’s miserable most of the time. The best CEOs are just built for it. It’s not even about wanting the job. It’s about pretty much not being able to do anything else.

This is Max. He snuck out in the middle of the night and walked 5 miles to get a breakfast burrito from a store that gave him one once. They weren't open yet when he arrived but Max was found the next morning thanks to his GPS collar patiently waiting outside for his snack. 14/10

Dads are spending 3-4x as much time with their kids as their dads did with them. When father figures are engaged, kids show better cognitive development, boys have fewer behavioral problems, and girls have fewer emotional problems. Every child deserves strong parental bonds.
