The new green for 2021 is now well on the way to the completion of the first phase, which sees the green levelled and reseeded.

Quorn Milks Park Bowls Club is getting set for the 2021 season with a brand new bowling green. Work is well underway and the club is looking forward to welcoming back all its members together with new members wishing to try out the new green!

Our annual short-mat final was held on Tuesday 29th March. The in-club short mat competition ran for 20 weeks and helped to keep our members together throughout the winter. Over a 9-end final match Richard Hogg emerged triumphant to become QMPBC Short-mat champion 20021/2022

Congratulations to George Ince who has been made an Honorary member of Quorn Bowls Club after being Club Comps Secretary for the past 14 years.

The policy of ‘kicking woods’ had got to stop. There is enough equipment available to enable the collection of woods without the need for ‘kicking’ With 26 bones in the foot(some of which are very small) who in their right might would think that kicking woods is necessary.
