The quantum-enabled scanner, commercialised by Cerca Magnetics Limited, allows free movement during a scan, opening up new possibilities for measuring brain function and dysfunction in a wide variety of disorders, for e.g. movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease #QuSIT

Last week, Peter Kyle Department for Science, Innovation and Technology was shown #optical and #magnetic #quantum brain sensing tech developed by University of Glasgow Uni of Nottingham #WeAreUoN teams, which -when combined - immediately shows both the blood oxygen levels and electrical activity in the brain Cerca Magnetics Limited
