Former minister now backbencher Ed Husic says the Albanese govt “can and should be doing more” on Gaza. Says: - Israeli ambassador should be called in & more aid demanded - financial aid should be ramped up - prepare targeted sanctions on Israeli leaders theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

It’s so funny that they’re trying to rebrand HR as “people and culture”, as if your job is planning office parties rather than being in-house cops

I can not move on from any of this. And I know Dr Alaa is not alone in going through this. We know. There is no justification. We have watched a live streamed genocide and can do nothing but scream into a void.

Murray Watt is a perfect model of the modern Labor politician. President of Young Labor. Chief of staff for a Premier. Boss of the Qld Left. Now he’s the Environment Minister, responsible for a critical decision. He chose to destroy the environment. crikey.com.au/2025/05/29/mur…

Opinion | If Jason Falinski is the best the "moderate" wing of the Liberal Party has to offer, it's in very serious trouble, writes Rachel Withers. crikey.com.au/2025/05/30/lib…

yep Rachel Withers "biggest obstacles to true Liberal renewal may be figures like Falinski, “moderate” men who failed to stand up on climate or integrity when they had the chance ... now insisting on doubling down on the class warfare, believing all the party needs is a rebadge"

Guys, he’s the shadow minister. He can focus on playing cards and model trains and have exactly the same influence on policy

Nicolette Boele back in the lead in Bradfield for the first time since the recount started (Kapterian took lead during distribution on Friday), currently 1 vote ahead!

It’s a disjointed clown show on Sky tonight with red neck Hanson giggling like a banshee and then pompous Dave Flint interrupting mad ranter Rowan Dean to declare that Sir Robert Menzies would have loved One Nation. Why do the Murdochs put these buffoons on air?

Brilliant article by Carmen Lawrence, former premier of WA & federal Labor minister: Anthony Albanese’s gas project extension is not just a mistake, it’s a betrayal smh.com.au/environment/cl…

A scrutineer tells me some One Hanson voters took James Asby's advice to heart. He told them to put Greens, Teals and Labor last. So they did - equal last which made their votes informal.

Sort of weird to run for Greens deputy leader/deputy whip when you don't think the crossbench is the place to make change 🤔 I'd be willing to entertain the idea that Cox has decided "change from within" is the way to go, but not within that 2-week turnaround
