Blockchain scaling is about scaling network effects, not just throughput or TPS. For a single state machine/chain, more throughput = more network effects. For a cluster of chains, better interoperability = more network effects.

My bet is Solana reaches the Ethereum scaling endgame before Ethereum does (statelessness, compression, real-time SNARKs,...) mostly because both core and ecosystem teams won't stop making Solana better every day the key that unlocks it all is fast decentralized consensus. IBRL
