Completed the MS thesis presentations of my students today! Congratulations Viraj Mulik and Anamika Singh. They worked on very diverse topics (populism and female labor force participation). It was a two-sided learning experience! Good luck to both of you.

Gave a talk to the Maths club at IISER Bhopal on the foundational concepts in Game Theory. Covered some simple experiments to highlight tragedy of the commons, p-beauty contest and iterated reasoning, centipede game and backward induction. Curious and responsive audience!

My paper with Rohit Ticku is now published in the Journal of Comparative Economics. We make several theoretical predictions and hope it spurns interest on the political economy of identity politics in democracies.
