The new ISUOG 2025 Twin Pregnancy Guidelines are a much-needed update in a field where practice often outpaces protocol. Clear, evidence-based, and globally relevant-an essential step toward improving outcomes in twin gestations. 👏 Thanks to the authors and contributors.

Apparently it's Sherlock Holmes Day so of course we have to share the real Sherlock, Edinburgh surgeon and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh President, Joseph Bell! Here he is with some letters from his former pupil, Arthur Conan Doyle that confirm Bell as inspiration for Doyle's literary detective.

Don’t despair of standard dull textbooks. Just close the book once in a while and think what they just said in your own terms as a revelation of the spirit and wonder of nature. The books give you facts but your imagination can supply life. 🧠
