Yesterday there was speculation that cuts to the National Weather Service contributed to the flooding deaths in Texas. While I believe the cuts to the NWS are reckless and will lead to loss of life down the road, that doesn't appear to have been the problem in this Texas flood.

This was hinted at during the passage of BBB, that the GOP was able to get the votes because of promises made to use administrative powers to impede that clean energy credits. The admin and much of the party just really hate solar, wind, and EVs.
