We had a very special day this week, and one that we've been waiting for since March. While it's been anything but business as usual recently, the choristers’ world-class musical education continues, and singing once more fills the Chapel.

An exciting day for some of our youngest choristers, who were fitted with their cassocks for the first time! Could this be your son this time next year? We're looking for boys currently in Years 3 and 4 with a love of music and singing: bit.ly/ChoristersAtKi…

We need great music teachers, great role models and great empowerers. Music is a primal need, and music education is the right of every child. Department for Education, please think again. U-turns are acceptable.

“It’s a year since I heard a hymn sung, but it’s strange how, if we focus on it, the music we hear inwardly can almost surpass what we hear physically. It has a greater purity, as if it has acquired a new body.” Dietrich Bonhoeffer in prison, 1944. #Lockdown

Huge thanks BBC Songs of Praise BBC Radio 2 Kate Bottley for joining forces to showcase choristership. It’s life changing for so many children who love to sing eg Aled Jones Katherine Jenkins. Hopefully BBC Chorister of Year will inspire many more!

In case anyone who reads my tweets needs convincing of the powerful effect of music on all aspects of development, just look at this lot! musiceducationworks.wordpress.com/2020/06/17/17-… Please retweet like crazy, because there’s lots of, “they should get on with their real work“ nonsense going around.

Great resource for music teachers who want a good way to insert music symbols into worksheets, presentations, and other documents.

Can any Twitter friends help? Our printer is stuck on this screen. Have tried unplugging overnight and holding the power button etc… No other reset buttons available as all controls are through the touch screen. Can’t connect via USB or Wi-Fi either whilst stuck on this screen.

So exciting to have a sneak preview last night of the new #LudlowDistillery shop, which is opening for the first time today! It's adjacent to Ludlow Farmshop, just on the A49 at #Bromfield. Credit to the @Ludlowdrygin team for getting this up and running so quickly

Very much looking forward to taking the Schola Cantorum to Music at St George's Hanover Square on Wednesday to sing this concert. William Mason will be accompanying on the organ and piano. Please do come and listen if you are in London and would enjoy some beautiful choral music. Pls RT
