Our #ATCA has been used in a world-first measurement to capture the speed of a neutron star’s jet. Clocked at 114,000 km per second, the jet moves at a third the speed of light! Discover how ATCA worked alongside the ESA’s Integral in this study: csiro.au/en/news/All/Ne…

This is the Corkscrew Galaxy. 🌌 Discovered in the 1960s with Murriyang, our Parkes radio telescope, the capabilities of our ASKAP radio telescope and the work of our astronomers have revealed details and structure that has never been seen before.

How are we detecting strange space signals?📡 Our engineers developed CRACO to 'sift' space data. Its processing ability is as powerful as sifting through a whole beach to find one five-cent coin every minute. csiro.au/en/news/All/Ne…
