Just before 1:00 this afternoon Pumper 52 responded to reports of a grass fire in the 12600 block of E 75th St. When we issue a burn ban it’s to reduce a situation like this. When high winds and dry conditions collide a small fire can turn large rather quickly.

DID YOU KNOW❓ The "Move Over" law was first passed in South Carolina in 1996 after a paramedic was tragically struck while responding to a crash. It's now a law in all 50 states and DC.
