At the end of a six-plus hour broadcast day in Kansas City, there’s only one place to go for dinner. The Orange Crush hit the spot and the burnt ends mac and cheese (bottom left, second right photo) was a spiritual experience.

On our way out of Kansas City today, stopped at a landmark site. At this corner, the longest game in NFL history was played (Chiefs-Dolphins, Christmas ‘71) and Satchel Paige made batters look foolish. (Photos courtesy my guy "Coach" Pete Smith)
