We had a wonderful turn out at our sewing workshop alongside Refugee Action Kingston yesterday. Lots of dresses, bags, tops, nightwear and dishcloths were made alongside new friendships and laughter. A new student was excited to learn to sew and made a lovely bag.

Thank you to John Lewis & Partners for this lovely donation of socks and tights, T shirts and wellies. These will be great for our next wellbeing event and will help lots of families. Their donations of fabric samples and remnants are brought back to life in our sewing workshops.

There was a great atmosphere at our wellbeing & many local organisations there to help residents. So many bikes fixed, health checks, liver checks, hair cuts, soup & cakes eaten, toiletries and clothes given out. Others were supported with benefits, oral health & mental health.

A big thank you to the 6 Tiffin School boys who came along to volunteer their time with us at RBKares. We spent a very warm day sorting through donations, categorising our stock and redistributing between our different storage sites. Quite a difference before and after!
