Some great news to share today. The marsh fritillary caterpillars that we reintroduced last September appear to be thriving. Thermal camera surveys last week counted a number of webs scattered over the site. On sunny days caterpillars come together to bask in the sun to warm up.

Restoration going well at Castell Nos HRA. Currently achieving around 1 hectare per day which is fantastic and we’re already seeing signs of rising water levels. Precise details of this work to come. For now, get an overview here npt.gov.uk/30642 & npt.gov.uk/30247
