The SAS Collective A4: this is an organisational cultural issue. I’ve been lucky. My dept allocates an ES to *all* drs working under supervision. IMO this should be the rule rather than the exception. #SASsix

#SASsix - I would love to hear some examples from people - please do share and together we can spread the hope, inspiration and learning for improvement. I do think there are elements of opportunity where ES can be enhanced through mentoring, coaching, looking outside....

Interesting point - there is no regulatory reason why SAS doctors cannot be education supervisors (of trainees even). Its about being trained for the role, not clinical seniority #SASSix The SAS Collective
