Disappointed a pub near Skipton is charging Β£4 for a pint of Diet Coke! πŸ™ˆI’m reluctant to inform my wife! Is this excessive in your opinion? On the plus side the Β£4.60 for an exceptional pint of cask, lessened the blow! 🍻

How times have changed. The magnificent Flying Horse is the last remaining pub on London’s Oxford Street. In 1841 there were 34! πŸ˜” Photo courtesy of London Pub Maps.

An outstanding CRAVEN BREW CO. pale ale, brewed by Elland 1872 porter creator, Dave Sanders. Crisp, refreshing and well balanced. A quite smooth, fruity and moderately bitter hopped thirst quencher. πŸ˜‹πŸ‘πŸ»

Settling nicely: a delicious IPA(4.4%) sampled yesterday from Hydes Brewery’s revived Anvil Brand range. Crisp and thirst-quenching. Light, caramel malt note blended well with a sold, full-flavoured citrus hop backbone.πŸ˜‹πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ‘
