Remember when Goldman Sachs couldn't stop talking about diversity? They sort of wish you didn't...especially after killing their prized D.E.I. program under threats from Trump nytimes.com/2025/02/11/bus…

Rob Copeland I see specks of similarities between Lumon #Severance & The Fund. But what's scarier is the similarity between people remaining at the Fund & working for X & DOGE - all determined young men

Your periodic reminder that Ray Dalio has been making the same doomsday predictions since the early 80’s, without interruption, and that no matter how many times he’s wrong they never fail to get him attention a.co/d/dcY0rCE

He has been saying this, without interruption, since the late 1970s. The attention helped make him a rich man. No one ever follows up on how many times he’s wrong. For more, there’s a book.

Actually lol-ed at this reminder of how often Ray Dalio has wrongly predicted another Great Depression I'd tag him in this, but he blocked me, which is another lol

Ray Dalio is correct that things are potentially about to break with more force than it may be seen now. HOWEVER, read Rob Copeland's book The Fund: Dalio predicted doom and gloom from the early 80s on; only to be wrong most of those times.

NEW: At least three times since the battle erupted last week between Harvard and President Trump, White House and admin officials reached out to Harvard to restart talks. Harvard, increasingly entrenched, refused to engage. Then it sued. nytimes.com/2025/04/22/bus…
