I think a lot of people with symptoms that suddenly come on after a virus and don’t immediately abate do recover. But I’d imagine there a lot of people with Long Covid who are in this phase of still trying to claw back what they had before and pushing through the warning signs.

I’m Ill Health Retired at 36, passing the Government Severe Ill Health test, not to work again due to #LongCovid, POTS, organ & nerve damage etc. My #PIP (& other people) is currently used to pay 3 peoples wages for support of me. What happens to THEIR income if my PIP ends?

Exactly 💯 It baffles me that this is not being looked into...surely that would be the sensible approach rather than slashing benefits causing so much harm to the most vulnerable in society.

Cutting PIP and disability benefits is cruel and misguided. These payments help disabled people work, stay mobile, and live with dignity. Calling these cuts “reassuring” is an insult - many constituents have told me they’re terrified. This must not happen.

5 years ago my life was put on ⏸️ after testing C19+. It's never started again & has worsened over time due to #LongCovid induced #ME. I put my life on the line to work in C19 ED as an #NHS nurse-now abandoned & left to rot, unable to work or live just exist mostly from bed.
