Illegally parked car with hazard lights is the main culprit, creates a blind spot for pedestrians and motorists alike There are more pedestrians walking on this road every minute than the number of illegally parked cars on both sides over many hours, yet there are no footpaths.

Making it easier for motorists to move around in their private vehicles isn't going to fix traffic, but only make it worse through induced demand. It will be an interesting experiment nevertheless. I hope all positive and negative results are published without biases.

Why is a footpath needed in a bridge? For people walk and cross rivers & railway lines.

1. Distrupt wildlife habitat by building motarable roads though a hill forest. 2. Let motorists drive though at night during hunting time. 3. Blame wildlife for being itself. 4. Capture and forcefully relocate it.

There were walking against the flow of traffic on footpath without any distractions, yet got run over by a motorcyclist. Even bollard protected footpaths won't save pedestrians from such attacks by Indian motorcyclists.
