🟦 CLEAN FEED | Preswatch 1/2 | A retro intro for Live Aid at 40 on BBC Two this evening. A widescreen recreation of the 1979 - 1986 =2= ident. The fanfare heard here was discontinued in 1983 though. Just saying.

Hold on. An unexpected Radio 1 jingle (the best sound in Britain) played during Live Aid (a peak audience of 30 million in the UK) during The Who’s technical problems after a video from Bowie and Jagger!?! This is being repeated in 2025 and I LOVE it. Recorded from iPlayer.

I asked about how the repeat of the Live Aid concert did on BBC2 and was told, 1.5m for part 1 and 1.1m for part 2. That's not too bad for a 40 year old concert shown from 6pm to 1am. #LiveAid40
