It’s exciting chasing storms. But it gives a whole new meaning to it when you have a stout tornado in your back yard! Earlier today across the street from our house near Bennett, CO. From our neighbor Ryan Hagel. Unfortunately our neighbors had damage and farm animals lost

May 18th at my house in Colorado was crazy! My wife Caryn had a tornado come less than a block away. Here's a video of the chase. She went north of Box Elder Creek Ranches where we live and shot some of it right as the tornado came over our area. Wild day for her! Check out this

Behold the structure!!! South of Kit Carson, CO last night. We decided to play south instead of the Cheyenne Ridge where there was better moisture. Mixed results tornado wise, but the supercell we encountered was a beauty! #cowx

June 23rd, the 23rd anniversary of one of the wildest tornadic beasts I've ever seen (6/23/2002). Brown county, SD. Produced multiple tornadoes including an F4. Old Nikon film camera with a fisheye lens. Here's a link to the SLT chase account from that day:

Manchester, SD. June 24, 2003. If you were there, you were witness to one of the most violent tornadoes. It completely destroyed the small South Dakota town. It also landed Tim Samaras in the Guinness Book of World Records for recording the largest pressure drop using his probes.

June 16, 2025. Dickens, NE. I have sooo many images to process. I haven't even touched the tip of the iceberg!!!!! NWS North Platte has completed their damage survey and It was rated EF2 and was on the ground for 45 minutes. There was a landspout initially for 8 minutes, then

Dickens, NE 6/16. Still the most amazing tornado I've seen this year, bar none!! What an event!! 45 minutes long, barely moving. Could sit up a lawn chair, have a cold beer and take a thousand photos! #newx

Not some big sculpted supercell or tornado, but this sunset storm south of Hyannis, NE last night was just beautiful to watch. Been a long time since I've seen a storm put on the colors this one did! #newx
