These terrestrial crustaceans (ants) have a population of 2x10^16! But, what about copepods? Well, in the North Atlantic, C. finmarchicus alone is about 10^15. Centropages, just in the Gulf of Maine, 10^12. Now imagine Oithona; 10^20, maybe? Copepodologists, any guesstimate?
