I feel so lucky that I was in elementary school in the 80s and early 90s and we had no shooter drills because we didn't need them. I am sad that my daughter will have to learn them. What a change for the worse.

What does Medicaid unwinding look like? It looks like a terrified family bringing their critically ill child to the hospital only to discover they were dropped from Medicaid for not submitting a form they didn’t realize they needed to submit. We can do better than this.

Which policy decisions impact kids? All of them. Literally all of them.
