I joined members of our community in Saginaw to honor those who have lost loved ones to gun violence. No one should have to go through this pain, which is why we won’t stop working until everyone can live free from fear of violence in their neighborhood.

Three years ago, the Supreme Court overturned Roe, ripping away a woman's right to choose and opening the door for extreme and dangerous abortion bans. I won’t stop fighting until we restore abortion rights nationwide and make Roe the law of the land once again.

Their plan to give tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy also slashes Medicaid, hurting the 20,000 mid-Michigan seniors who depend on it for health care. I went to the Village of Hampton Meadows in Bay City to elevate the voices of seniors who would get hurt if they get their way.

I sat down with farmers and agri-business leaders in Frankenmuth to discuss the status of the Farm Bill and my work with House Agriculture Committee Democrats to support local farmers. Thank you to Star of the West for hosting and giving us a tour of the facility!
