The criminal legal system is being used by right wing politicians to punish their political enemies without ever showing evidence or holding a trial. If we allow the lives of protesters to be destroyed like this, the First Amendment is meaningless. apnews.com/article/cop-ci…

you know what you need to do this? lots and lots of police with guns and batons who can round up poor and homeless people and put them in cages. every abuse we're seeing right now, from Trump or not, is enabled by the bipartisan buildup of policing over the past decades

It’s a given that they’re targeting people for their political opinions. They’ll never affirmatively say that, so now what? Shut the fuck up, ask for an attorney. That’s it. Yes CBP can temporarily fuck up your life like any old cop can. But that’s why you don’t talk to cops…

This is scheduled, so I don’t know what the world looks like right now, but as of writing this, these families in Jabalia have been under hours of severe bombardment & massacres. Give boldly. What else is there to say. Just do. Just share. chuffed.org/project/save-d…

It is great news that Mahdawi, Ozturk, and Suri are now all out. The fact that Mahmoud Khalil still sits in detention, with the court thusfar refusing to even reach the question of bail—despite being detained *first* of the four—is totally inexplicable
