Here's the model I shared yesterday ResearchED Belfast, exploring how we could use LLMs as a co-intelligence, iterating thinking and design back and forth. Here's a blog about how I used ChatGPT to help me design this model lnkd.in/e9xSTVjt youtube.com/watch?v=1BXsC7โฆ

Great insights from Dr Geraldine Magennis-Clarke from ResearchED Belfast on NI promising PIRLS attainment and how we can improve further by encouraging reading for pleasure and the effective teaching strategies to achieve this for all learners #inclusion #SoR #literacy

The power of teaching spelling via morphological word families ๐งต At ResearchED Belfast yesterday, I (hopefully) managed to stress the importance of teaching and assessing spelling through phonological and orthographic lenses, but morphology didnโt get the love/time it deservesโฆ

Very grateful to be able to collaborate with Jamie Clark again on the difficulties that SEND pupils can have when engaging with the writing process. This is a summary to generate some awareness and understanding. Will be available on Jamie's website for download and used at

(New) On yesterday's ResearchED Belfast: a welcome addition to the researchED movement. Like others, a friendly and invigorating CPD opportunity. juliangirdham.com/blog/researcheโฆ

Just reflecting upon the amazing time I had ResearchED Belfast last weekend! From adaptive teaching to cognitive science, I left with a highly informed range of evidence-based pedagogical approaches ๐๐If you are an educator, I encourage you to attend & follow!

The recent Education NI 'Compendium of Presentations' from this year's ResearchED Belfast is packed with innovative ideas and approaches. I was fortunate to contribute and be in such esteemed company! I hope this collection provides inspiration and sparks thoughtful discussions on

You can download the compendium here -if you missed ResearchED Belfast there are plenty of presentations and food for thought in there to spark discussion and debate. Very appreciative of the chance to contribute & to share. More cross system critique and collaboration needed! ๐
