Raptor 45g applied pre did damage the non-CL cereals (right), CL cereals are OK (left) and no capeweed emerged in those pots where sown (left), lotus seems unaffected (right) sown under non-CL crops.

Another ryegrass population resistant to the double knock (glyphosate600 1.5L followed by paraquat250 1.5L - applied 10 days apart). This ryegrass is from high rainfall in the Great Southern of WA. It is the only region where we have found this problem so far WeedSmart

This is the same populations sprayed with a doubke knock of paraquat 250 (1.5L fb 1.5L - 4 days apart). 5 seedlings per pot. Hasten 1% with each paraquat knock. The sensitive control I used is only glyphosate resistant and got easily killed by this herbicide use pattern.

We have tested several use patterns that still work well with 100% efficacy in pots. From left you see this population killed by : Clethodim240 500ml, Clethodim 1000ml, Clethodim 500+Crucial 1.5L, Clethodim 500ml+Crucial 1.5L + Glufosinate 2L.

Recent resistance testing work for 4 ARG samples from one farm in WA central wheatbelt : No resistance for Crucial 1.5L or Sequence240 500ml. Axial 500ml and Intervix 1L can still work. All photos in order. Minimal cost and 3 week turn around from seedlings receival.

Dicamba is 🧨 against subclovers. Photos with 3 varieties (Campeda top, Dalkeith middle, Edison bottom) treated with 500 g ai of Gr. 4 actives. Scrolling to the right: 2,4-DB, 2,4-D amine, Dicamba, Dicamba-MCPA (co-formulated 80/340g/L).

In 2026 UWA will test for herbicide resistance in ryegrass seeds. Gr. 1 Axial, Clethodim Gr. 2 Intervix Gr. 3 Propyzamide, Trifluralin Gr. 9 Glyphosate Gr. 10 Liberty Gr. 13 Overwatch Gr. 15 Boxer Gold, Sakura Gr. 22 Gramoxone Gr. 23 Ultro Gr. 30 Luximax ($250 per sample)
