All go in one of the new greenhouses today. A bobcat is here clearing out the mud from construction to get it ready because this will be a crèche half a million little tree babies over the next few weeks!

Automated drum seeder up and running today. Lots of Manuka babies starting their journey. She’s a bit cramped in the old shed and a few teething issues but this is going to make growing seedlings a lot more accurate and efficient. All part of keeping costs down for our farmers

Had to scrub a lot of dirt off from a busy week potting plants but great to have the opportunity to share our view for success of native forests. Awesome conference

We’re hiring again for Restore Native. Whether it’s a new career or simply some summer work doing awesome things in a cool environment then I’d love to hear from you. Share far and wide if anyone knows someone in the Waikato. youtu.be/EAEE-vBYj-8

On the podcast this week, Adam Thompson from Restore Native talks about one of the main motivations for restoration planting—farmers want to be proud of what they're doing. He says a good planting strategy is to choose a location that's very visible and take bite-sized steps.

In Hawke’s Bay today with the 10,000 plants we’ve donated to Cyclone Recovery. Some humbling stories of damage done. Thanks to Sam Owen and JB from Rural Support trust for linking these trees up with some very worthy people.
