7/? When I first came to Libertyville Manor Extended Living Facility, I was a spoiled brat. However, after about ten days of observation, I now I feel nothing but love and gratitude for the people who care for me here.

9/? I have watched the older ones here, dealing with real pain and fear. The women across from my room who loved classical music and died last week. I miss the soft strains of 'Bolero' and Vivaldi's 'Spring'. I miss the presence of her even though I never even met her.

10/? I have started to pray at night for those in so much fear, pain and loneliness here - staff and resident alike. So, please wear a mask, wash your hands and get your COVID vaccine when it's your turn. I will never forget what COVID taught me during my time here.
