"It looks like I've hit a nerve" UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur oPt responds defiantly to being sanctioned by the Trump Administration in an interview with MEE Live's Mohamed Hassan. Last week, Albanese published a UN report accusing 60 companies of complicity in genocide

One way to support Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur oPt is to read, circulate, cite, quote, and teach the rigorous reports she has written on self-determination, carceral system, child rights, genocide, and corporate complicity. Here is a list:

For the The New York Times, of course, it is always from an Israeli Jewish perspective. God forbid they publish a lengthy essay by a Palestinian expert detailing the case for charging Israel with genocide.

The idea that any weapons given to a regime perpetrating a holocaust are “defensive,” is abhorrent. The bottom line is that “progressive” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to keep enabling, rewarding and arming “Israeli” genocide.

Nothing—nothing—justifies the systematic starvation of an entire people. 18 Palestinians died of starvation this morning. Mark Carney, the time for rhetoric is over. It’s time to sanction Israel & pressure for an immediate lifting of the siege. This genocide needs to end NOW.

Thanks so much for writing it Derek Verbakel! A very generous review and I'm grateful for the very close read of the text
