So Invasive Species Council through its campaign Reclaim Kosci shared aerial pics showing damage by brumbies (feral horses) to Kosciuszko National Park. The 1st pic is one of them. The 2nd and 3rd pics are mine, showing how brumbies turn pristine alpine vegetation into worthless mudheaps

Always great talking to Richard Aedy. As I say at the end "nothing offends me more than feeling that our government and our elected officials are not leveling with us." Marking the Treasurer’s work: Three leading economists discuss the federal budget. abc.net.au/listen/program…

"Of course, when a universally lauded government initiative gets delayed at the last hurdle, it’s usually because of a massive lobbying campaign against it, conducted in the shadows."

Figleaf time. A multi-$trillion spend on nuclear that won’t be approved or built in time to contribute meaningfully to cutting emissions by 2050. But in the meantime, we need power and “Deidre Chambers! We just happen to have vast reserves of coal & gas…”

David Speers interrogation of Mr O'Brien exposed a thimble and pea trick. Coalition wants people to believe its fuzzy nuclear policy is under the thimble when it's not. In fact, not clear whether a policy exists at all except in Mr Dutton's imagination 👇 abc.net.au/news/2024-06-2…

There is no Coalition nuclear power 'plan'. There is a Coalition political strategy to flood the zone with misinformation, mislead voters about the causes of our “cost of living” problems, and fuel uncertainty over energy policy" thenewdaily.com.au/finance/2024/0…
