Has any one got issue no16 of the Western Front Association bulletin (1986)? I am looking for a piece written by #ww1 veteran EW Ford about a cross erected in Belgium after a bomb hit a tented camp killing over 40 comrades. Ernest did the artwork on the cross. The only issue I can’t find is no16!
I have had the privilege and pleasure to work with Richard, and call him a great friend, for 25 years. He has some fantastic stories to tell and I can’t wait for him to share them! If you are near enough, do book in - it will be a fantastic evening!! Richard van Emden

For every retweet of this post, I will donate £1 to the Victoria Cross and George Cross Association up to £50,000. Time is running out following Imperial War Museums’s decision to close the Lord Ashcroft Gallery. Visit while you still can, to honour the bravery of those who risked so much to protect our great nation.
