An underrated point by Starmer and one which strikes me as authentic: There are debates that are genuinely difficult to tread. Politicians will not always get it right but their motives matter. Whether mistakes flow from a wish to be kind or from performative cruelty matters. ~AA

I've been campaigning for labour, though sometimes I feel less optimistic, I'm willing to be impressed, and I hope even with limited resources they will work hard and deliver for the public. I hope this is a taste of what's to come.
