Some of my vendors I want to talk to constantly, others I'd like to talk to at my renewal and then leave me alone until it's time to renew again.

Any Rails friends that are running at some level of scale but not necessarily enterprise able to connect and talk about infrastructure. This has always been my achilles heel and looking to rubber duck some solutions. Happy to pay for your time as well.

I just want to say a massive thank you to Sam ๐Ÿ›๏ธ from Discount Kit. It's a holiday in Canada and the UK but I'm headed away on vacation on Monday and him and the team have gone the extra mile to support us ahead of our sale.

The Subway in Toronto during Shopify Summit and Editions is a different vibe. Number of people rocking partners merch, and Shopify swag is unreal. Good energy in the city.

Also pro tip for any Shop employees: Everyone likes to cut loose every now and again but being black drunk on King St at 1am wearing your conference badge is not the move. Blend in with the other drunk people or wear a Salesforce Cloud Commerce shirt instead.

Challenging problem I'm seeing with all ai note takers is that they were mostly born in the "we all WFM" era. Anyone else experienced this?

I'm all for a plan or a roadmap but as priorities change or the business need to adjust sometimes these need to as well. Find that folks can often be too precious about their roadmaps. All for protecting them but not at the sake of supporting the business.

I've been a long time fan of Slack. I think it's second to none for communication but I think it's time for that to change. The Salesforce machine has taken over.

Happy Gilmore has always been a favourite of mine. Got up early this morning to watch the sequel. Here are my thoughts: - Cameos were unreal - Plot line was soft but it got there - Great throwbacks to the original 8/10

I was listening to DHH on Lex Friedmanโ€™s podcast talking about the cloud exit. He mentioned self hosting applications at home and Iโ€™d never even considered this but the fact I can get ultra high speed internet to my house truly could make this possible. Is this a bad idea?

Seeing lots of takes about 'developers should choose their own tools'. Companies aren't democracies. When they're buying the equipment and paying the salaries, standardization is a legitimate business decision.

Is it called vibe coding because I spend most of the time sitting here watching Cursor fixing its own mistakes with new mistakes, while listening to some sweet triphop and Drum n' Bass?
