One of the loveliest surprises to come out of our month of #APAHM conversations: This gorgeous hand-drawn illustration by Google’s Nisha Nair, which she made during our discussion with their Asians in Marketing team!

And that can be powerful! The best written record of the mostly-Asian-American SoCal of my childhood (aside from riseasianamerica) isn't anywhere on the web -- it's in the pages of the late great Giant Robot magazine. wbur.org/hereandnow/202…

Elon Musk But how will you define a hate tweet? And what if hate purveyors actively swarm a non-hateful post or thread? How will participants in that thread be protected? It wouldn’t be an issue of discovery in that case. If you are letting hate accounts act with no restriction, they will.

Elon Musk Twitter is not the ocean; Twitter is a swimming pool. Pools have rules and are designed for certain expectations of safety. You can’t open a pool and tell people that yeah, there are sharks in there but it’s okay, they’re not being boosted or monetized.
