We have been super scientists this week and investigated fruits using our senses. We smelt, tasted, and felt the fruit and used different words to describe it. We then sorted the fruit into different categories including sweet, sour, hard, and soft. flic.kr/s/aHsmWS1RQz

Y5 visited the allotment and create bird feeders to keep the wild birds fed over winter. They also built a bug hotel for the mini-beasts that are essential for keeping the allotment healthy and happy. Lots of fun was had by all! Find out more here: year5riverside.blogspot.com

The Nursery children made some delicious vegetable soup. They all learnt about where the ingredients came from, chopped the ingredients with child safety knives, mixed the ingredients, put it into a soup maker and ate it all up! riversidecommunitynursery.blogspot.com
